Dr Yeshwant Surenda Kamavapapu

Psychiatrist (MBBS, MRCPsych, FRANZCP)

Dr Kamavarapu is a psychiatrist who specialises in Autism assessment and diagnosis. He is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in both the UK and Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists in Australia. On top of his post-graduate psychiatry training, he has completed further higher training in Intellectual Disability Psychiatry. He is currently a medical member on the Queensland Mental Health Review Tribunal Panel since August 2021. He has extensive experience working in specialist Autism and intellectual disability centres for many years. This allows him to provide an understanding and empathetic approach to neurodivergent patients. He also currently writes reports to the courts in Queensland on mental health matters.
